Sébastien Ogier and Julien Ingrassia had a serious accident in today’s test with the Toyota Yaris WRC. The French were testing the new aerodynamic specifications for the new season, but the road departure has forced the plans to abort.
The accident occurred on a fast and complicated descent, with slippery terrain due to rain. Ogier has lost control of the car, knocking over several pine trees and stopping several meters later. Both have escaped the habitat unharmed, but Ingrassia has been transferred to the hospital as a precaution.
