The organization of the Tierras Altas of Lorca Rally is working hard to celebrate the first round of the Spanish Gravel Rally Cup. It will be the second round, in turn, of the Spanish Super Championship after Sierra Morena. We have already known the itinerary-schedule of the Murcian appointment.
The race, to be held on April 23 and 24, will have six special stages divided into several sections. To begin with, as a welcome, the teams will face a special 23.27 kilometers in length, well above the usual average in the event.
This stage will be held at 9:18 in the morning, with assistance at the fairgrounds just after, while the second pass, to the same section, is scheduled at twelve in the morning. Fifty kilometers await the drivers and co-drivers on Saturday morning.
The afternoon is made up of two other double-pass stages. One of them, the “B”, will be 14.96 kilometers long, while the “C” is made up of 12.49 kilometers. In total, the mounts will travel 101 timed kilometers and another 276 of link.

The test looks more exciting than ever. If all goes well, very fast drivers such as José Antonio Suárez, Naaser Al-Attiyah, Gorka Eizmendi, Iván Ares and many others will attend, which can make Lorca a motorsport festival. Of course, with restrictions due to the coronavirus.
The organization has not confirmed, for the moment, if the attendance of the public will be allowed in its sections. Last year, fans had to access the official website and obtain a QR code to be able to attend the race. We will see what is the plan of the Automobile Club de Lorca in 2021. Let us remember that this rally, in 2020, was the last rallie at the national level that could be held without the restrictions due to COVID that we have today.
