Eurosport Events: “Making the FIA ERC as affordable as possible has always been a priority. While it was possible to keep the event format for the 77th Rally Poland and Rally Liepāja, the postponement of the 55th Rally Poland the Azores from May created several problems.

“We thank the FIA, the Portuguese ASN, the FPAK, the Government of the Azores and the authorities of Fafe and its surroundings for accommodating these changes. Fafe e Felgueiras is now scheduled for the same date as the Finnish World Championship event. Rally Championship. However, we are fully convinced that these two well-established events taking place on opposite sides of Europe with a two-hour time difference will be extremely successful”.
