No changes in official teams, except for Craig Breen’s entry for Dani Sordo in the third Hyundai i20 WRC. Teemu Suninen raised some doubts about his participation, but he will also participate qith the Ford Fiesta WRC.
From there, surprises arrive. 2C Competition will line up its two Hyundai i20 WRCs. One will be for Frenchman Pierre-Louis Loubet, who will dispute the entire season. The other, as we learned last week, will be for Oliver Solberg, who will make his WRC debut.
Finn Janne Tuohino will also start in JanPro Racing’s Ford Fiesta WRC. The Finn is a regular in Sweden and Finland, his favorite tests. After two years inactive, Italian Lorenzo Bertelli also returns aboard another Ford Fiesta WRC.
WRC2: Ten drivers will start, and a precious fight for victory is anticipated. Andreas Mikkelsen and Esapekka Lappi are the favorites, but very fast people in snow like Huttunen, Veiby or Gryazin will not make it easy. Adrien Fourmaux, of course, will be another one of the fastest.
WRC3: Category dominated by the Finns. Temuu Asunmaa or Emil Lindholm are some of the favorites. We will have three Spaniards here. One will be Carlos del Barrio, in his debut in a WRC round with Fabrizio Zaldivar. Miguel Díaz-Aboitiz and Diego Sanjuán will also carry out their second test this season.
