After the signing of Borja Rozada by Hyundai Motorsport together with Dani Sordo from Cantabria, Pepe López had several interesting options for the new campaign. The Citroen driver has just announced, through his social networks, the new navigator for a year that he promises.
Diego Vallejo will be in charge of co-driver with the current Spanish Rally Champion on board the Citroën C3 R5. The Galician enjoys many seasons behind him, both with his brother Sergio and with other competitors.
He has more than thirty starts in the World Championship (Dani Sordo, Albert Llovera, with his brother Sergio), in the European Championship (single events with Sergio aboard several units) and, above all, in the Spanish Championship of Asphalt Rallies (Two-time absolute champion with the Porsche).
This was Pepe López’s message on social networks:
“Very happy to announce that this 2021 I will continue in my sports career together with Diego Vallejo. I am especially excited to have a person on my right like Diego and to continue learning from his experience. Óscar Fuertes, friend, reference and current rider of Diego in Raids for the Dakar has been one of the culprits for this happening. We are very grateful to you, Oscar!”
We look forward to knowing your complete program, but we are working with the clear objective of continuing to add experience in international championships. The ERC along with Sports & You or even a partial program in WRC2 could be the options.
