The Rallye Terre des Causses, one of the classic rounds of the French Gravel Rally Championship, has been suspended by the organization. The current health situation in the country has been the main reason for this decision, similar to last season.
The rally was scheduled for the first weekend of April, on the 3rd and 4th. An early date, checking the restrictions imposed in most European countries. The organization will not change the date, so we must wait until 2022 to enjoy this magnificent rally.
Various Spanish teams had the intention of traveling to start shooting on this surface. Daniel Alonso and Jandrín López were one of them aboard the Ford Fiesta Rally2. Eduard Pons also told Tramalón his intention to participate in this test.
The calendar of the French Gravel Rally Championship remains, for the moment, with five scoring events. Rallye Castine-Terre d’Occitanie would be the first race (8-9 May). Rallye Terre du Haut-Var, in June, was also suspended a month ago.
