Nil Solans and Marc Martí will participate in the 2021 European Rally Championship. This has been confirmed by Rally Team Spain, a promotional program that will help the Catalans in their ambitious continental project. Without a doubt, great news for everyone.

Solans is one of the fastest drivers on the national and continental scene. He was Junior World Champion in 2017 and, after two difficult seasons due to lack of support, he won the Spanish Gravel Championship in 2020 aboard a Skoda Fabia R5.

Solans and Martí will participate in the ERC1 with a Skoda Fabia Rally2 Evo under the structure of Calm Competició, a team with which the CERT won last season. ACSM, Michelin and Rallye Team Spain will be his  supporters during this campaign.

As stated in an interview with Diari de Sabadell in March, Nil Solans’ goal is none other than to win the contest absolutely. They will compete in the eight scheduled appointments with the aim of aiming for the highest, like Efrén Llarena and Sara Fernández, also supported by the Spanish Federation.

After the postponement of Azores, Poland will be the first round of the European Rally Championship, scheduled for June 18, 19 and 20. Latvia, Rome, Barum (Czech Republic), Fafe, Hungary, the Canary Islands and the postponed Azores will complete the championship in 2021.

It is not ruled out that both Solans and Llarena add kilometers in an official rallie in Spain, but nothing is official today. One of the events that the drivers and teams have marked is the Rallye Terra da Auga, the fourth round of the Spanish Super Championship (June 5 and 6). It will be played two weeks before Poland.
