Thierry Neuville and Martjin Wydaeghe crashed the Hyundai i20 WRC in the sixth stage, around kilometer 15 of the course. The Belgian lost control of the car in a fast left-hand corner, hitting a slope and causing damage to the car.
The Belgians have resumed their march and have managed to reach the finish line of the special. They should be the ones to repair the car due to lack of assistance. They were running second in the general classification, just eight seconds behind Dani Sordo and Borja Rozada. We will see what they can do because they have the link in front of them.
Elfyn Evans and Scott Martin suffered the consequences of the blow, as they finished the special just behind the wake of the Belgians, who of course were not aware of it. Race management will take action on the matter, returning lost time to the Toyota team.
