A beautiful Austrian Grand Prix is over! The World Championship drivers have visited the Red Bull Ring for the second weekend consecutive, starring in a very interesting race from the first meters. Max Verstappen has taken a new victory, third in a row of the 2021 campaign for him.

The Dutch driver has had a race that has reminded us of the moments of Mercedes dominance since the beginning of the hybrid era. Since the start, the young Red Bull has pushed, adding the 26 points at stake, including the fastest lap with a free extra stop.

The fight has been beautiful from second place, finally in the hands of Valteri Bottas who, despite not making a brilliant start, has managed to pass Lando Norris. The young Mclaren driver adds his third podium of the season, impressive, in a demonstration of very good pace from the Mclaren team.

Lewis Hamilton was the biggest loser of the race, as he was unable to pass from fourth place this weekend. Little by little, with the passing of the races, the English driver seems to be a little further away from his eighth title of Champion.

A splendid Carlos Sainz has managed to be fifth, thanks to a strategy of the Ferrari team, starting with hard compound, to attack in the final part of the race. “Checo” Pérez was sixth, naming several duels from the first meters. The Mexican has added a 10-second penalty for “expelling” Charles Leclerc from the track twice.

Daniel Ricciardo, Charles Leclerc, Pierre Gasly and Fernando Alonso have completed the positions with access to points. The Spanish Alpine driver, with a great race pace, snatched the last point at stake from George Russell, who is still very close to opening the points locker for the British Williams team.
